Chimney relining needs to be performed on the fireplace flue and furnace flue
when there are problems that can and often cannot be visually seen. If you can
see cracked or missing tiles or bricks you may need to have the chimney relined.

Other problems may include eroded brick and mortar, excessive or glazed
creosote, flue tiles not aligned properly, or if you experience improper chimney
drafts. The furnace flue is just as important and should not be over looked if
you see flaking clay liner, staining on the wall due to moisture, excessive
moisture in the gas or oil flu, excessive soot, chimney structure deterioration.

Carbon monoxide leakage into the home is a huge risk and a very hazardous
condition.  New Jersey chimney relining needs to be performed by an experienced chimney sweep that is properly insured and has performed relining on a regular basis.
